Liverpool Print Fair was definitely worth the effort

So Liverpool Print Fair finally came and went last weekend and it was another great success. Not only did we get a brilliant response from the public but the sellers seemed to be really pleased at the end of the day, and that makes me feel amazing.

It’s been a lot of work organising the event and keeping on top of applications, emails, social media, promotion, sponsorship, workshops, and cancellations, plus designing and printing freebies, has absorbed a huge amount of my time over the past few months. At first I was a bit annoyed about it but now I’ve seen the results of the hard work I can definitely say I’m glad I did it all.

There’ll be ways to improve the process and now that we have a couple under our belt it should be easier to get attention from potential sellers or sponsors. We’ve got loads of media to share and we even had a promotional video filmed on the day which I can’t wait to see completed.

Hopefully we’ll be able to get a date settled for the next fair before Mark and I are away travelling so I can be involved, though I can still help out with some of the preparations if not.

I’m still posting on the social media accounts to try and keep followers from dropping off or even gain a few before the next one.

That’s all I wanted to say really, I just wanted to say it before the good feelings faded into normality.
